In this Painting done in PAINTER , I used the soft pastels and I used a really different style to my usual style of illustration , I used a lot of different colours ! My girlfriend loves radiant electric colours and I wanted to depict her in these colours , so I used all the colours in the backdrop and pulled them into her face and shirt creating a more radiant piece of art ! it had to reflect her and her personality !

I portraited it with a lot of different photoshop brushes , keeping in mind a style of a more realistic type of caricature. I wanted to use warmer colours as she is a darker tanned girl ..

Hi , It’s nice to be posting again , For this painting I had to depict Jesus in an almost reassuring yet friendly pose , holding out his healing hand . I blurred the edges of his front hand with a variation of low opacity brushes in painter . Keeping in mind Depth of field .
I also wanted to convey his friendly smile in the image as well as make his eyes appeal to the viewer . I played a lot with colour , and did a more painterly style of painting than I normally do . Here are close ups of face and hand in below links. look forward to any Comments ;o)

Queen of Seduction

Hi there, this a piece I have been working on for a while, I Started it off as a conceptual
Sketch (on paper) and that went from her holding a glass of wine …being the queen of seduction in a more “I want to
Seduce you “kinda way, to her current state where she is now letting a butterfly rest on her hand. This shows her oneness with nature and letting her true beauty shine through! Which I found as I went along in the painting was the way to depict her. The colours that complement were the background and the cloth. The blonde hair required a lot of detail, I wanted to create a enriched colour palette of colours that would range from her pink cheeks through to her hair and skin tones that have a variety of colours !I also added little things to enhance the mood like her hair lifting in the slight breeze and fire flys in the background to create a mystical feel .

The true meaning behind this piece is to seduce the viewer with her true beauty !!

She is a fictitious character !
I did take lots of photos of my own hand to
See finer creases etc for closer details !

Hope you enjoy, comments more than welcome thanx

Hello everyone, this is a painting of a lady warrior recovering from her injuries, she has just been in a fight and is now nursing her wounds, I have been working on this for a while, it started as a conceptual sketch and I then brought it into Photoshop! I tried to use the colors of sage Green which is supposed to convey a mood of tranquility. The Reference I used was generally looking at one of my Nude books if I was ever skeptical about a certain muscle or body part, there is no specific reference used in this picture (this was supposed to be a lesson in painting for me to use more tonal colors to create a more realistic body) .Please any comments and critiques on the integration of my scenery and figure and use of colors would be more than welcome thank you.
